Camarillo’s Premium Outlets is one of our region’s hottest shopping destinations, where you can find more than 160 designer-label stores selling at a discount. Or, if your preferences lean more toward unique, vintage styles, check out the Antique Mall in Old Town Camarillo! There you can expect to find great deals on a wonderful selection of cool, rustic and antique pieces.

DRINKS:

Need a place to relax and “crack a cold one?” Make your way to Institution Ale Brewery, where you can sample more than 12 different types of beer on tap! Be sure to grab a freshly made artisan pizza or warm pretzel from their kitchen to have with your brew of choice. And, for all the wine lovers out there, we got you covered too! Local winery, Cantara Cellars, is home to a wide array of award winning white and red wines. If you have the time, make it a fun day with friends by taking a tour of the winery and finishing off with a tasting of various premium wines!

FOOD:

No need to let your stomach growl, as Camarillo is home to some of our favorite spots to dine! For all the brunch enthusiasts, Money Pancho Mexican Restaurant is your new go-to Sunday spot. They take their brunch seriously, emphasizing traditional Mexican specialties and offering bottomless champagne mimosas to enjoy alongside your meal. For dinner, Lure Fish House provides delicious local and sustainable seafood in a fine dining environment, perfect for an intimate night out.  We recommend trying out the Crab Cakes and Sally’s Sand Dabs! Lure has a few other nearby locations, but the Camarillo restaurant is our team’s fave. If you want to try a wide selection of cuisine options, head over to Camarillo Ranch on the last Thursday of each month. At their #TBT Food Truck Festival Series, you’ll spend the evening surrounded by live entertainment, local beer, and of course, lots of food!

LOCAL FARMS:

When we think of a community gathering, nothing beats a traditional farmers’ market filled with local produce! We have grown to love the Camarillo Certified Famers Market for its high environmental standards and celebration of Camarillo’s agricultural heritage. Treat yourself and your family to a visit any Saturday and help support local and organic shops. McGrath Family Farm is another excellent spot to experience the community’s agricultural roots. Take your family out strawberry picking on their fields and take home boxes of the most delicious pesticide-free fruits!

OUTDOORS:

For all you outdoorsy nature lovers, our team found some perfect spots for you to check out! Home to the oldest trees in the area, hiking trails, a dog park, a playground and much more, Grove Park is a great place to spend a summer day with friends and family. For those who prefer more rigorous ways of getting in their nature fix, head to Hill Canyon for a scenic trail stretching 3.6 miles. And, for some casual strolling, head to Camarillo’s “hidden gem”, Pleasant Valley Botanical Gardens, where you’ll be captivated by all the native species of butterflies and plants.

ENTERTAINMENT:

When you’re ready to get out of the heat, how about enjoying a movie in total comfort? Located within the Camarillo Premium Outlets, Edwards Cinema is a local classic for catching up on the latest blockbusters. Now newly renovated, the theater has fully reclining seats making for a comfortable and pleasurable movie experience. And, if you’re one with a sweet tooth, make sure to hop on over to Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt to end the night with some sweet, creamy goodness.
