The folks at Hollywood Storage Center of Thousand Oaks are already excited about the Ventura County Fair, starting this Wednesday! But, it’s not just the carnival rides and concerts that inspire us to drive from the Conejo Valley to the Fairgrounds.

As experts on storage units, we love to browse the stuff created and displayed by fellow Ventura County-ites. For example, did you know about the Hobbies and Collections exhibit? You’ll see everything from Care Bears collections to Wizard of Oz memorabilia to Olympic souvenirs.

Some of our other Fair favorites are the amateur and professional art, photography, home arts (all of the awesome pot holders, quilts, jams, jellies, cakes and more!), and the fabulous gems and minerals. While these items might well spend most of the year in a clean Newbury Park self storage facility or vault storage, they are amazing displays of the talents and interests across our community.
