1. Do you provide locks?

We have several kinds of new, sealed locks available for purchase in our Box Office. If you prefer to provide your own lock, you're welcome to do so.

2. Do you keep a key to my storage unit?

You are the only one who has a key to your storage unit.

3. What's a drive-up unit?

A drive-up unit has a roll-up door and its own loading area. Just drive up to it and load your belongings in or out.

4. What's a roll-up door?

Roll-up doors are like garage doors – they roll up overhead for easy access. They're usually wider than swing doors, so it's easy to move things in and out.

5. Do I have to sign a lease for a minimum amount of time?

Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements – no long-term lease is required.

6. When can I access my storage unit?

Using your personal gate code and building code, you can access your storage unit seven days a week from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm. Custom hours are also available.

7. What's the difference between access hours and

office hours?

During access hours (6:30 am to 8:30 pm seven days a week), you can use your gate code and building code to access your storage unit. During office hours (8:30 am to 6 pm seven days a week), Hollywood Storage associates are available in the lobby to assist you. When the lobby is open, you can also purchase boxes & supplies, or rent a Penske Truck.

8. If I can't find my gate code, what do I do?

9. What kind of documentation do I need to provide

to rent a storage unit?

You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver's license, state ID or passport).

10. Do you have handcarts or dollies I can use

at your facilities?

Yes. You're welcome to use our complimentary carts and dollies which are available in the bays at the front of each hallway. Call buttons are available throughout the property if you need assistance.

11. What option do I have to pay my monthly bill?

When you rent at Hollywood Storage Center, we immediately activate the My Account feature on this website. You will have the choice to pay monthly by credit card, enter your information to auto-pay your bill or pre-pay for any number of months. You can also mail a check or come into our office seven days a week from 8:30 am to 6 pm to pay by check, credit card, or cash.
