Hollywood Storage Center Celebrates
2026 Scholarship Winners

The tassels have turned, the caps have flown, and years of hard work, late nights, and big dreams have led to this unforgettable moment. Graduation season is one of our favorite times of year at Hollywood Storage Center. Each year, we look forward to celebrating the incredible students in our Conejo Valley community by awarding two scholarships to local graduates. Our 2026 recipients are Sabina Elizalde of Thousand Oaks High School and Vivian Falt of Newbury Park High School.

Sabina Elizalde, Spoony Singh Memorial Scholarship recipient.

Spoony Singh Memorial Scholarship for Business & Entrepreneurship — $2,500

Recipient: Sabina Elizalde, Thousand Oaks High School

We are proud to award this year’s $2,500 Spoony Singh Memorial Scholarship for Business & Entrepreneurship to Sabina Elizalde, a graduating senior from Thousand Oaks High School.

Established in honor of the founder of our family business, the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, initiative, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. Sabina embodies those qualities through her service, determination, and passion for helping others.

Growing up in a bilingual household, Sabina often translated for her parents, an experience that inspired her commitment to improving healthcare access for underserved communities. She has volunteered at Westminster Free Clinic and Los Robles Hospital, assisting patients and providing translation services for Spanish-speaking community members.

Sabina is also a four-year Varsity Water Polo athlete, co-founder of the World Cuisines Club, and participant in Latino Youth Leadership. Through these experiences, she has developed the leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills that drive meaningful change.

She plans to pursue a degree in Nursing and continue advocating for patients facing language and cultural barriers. Like many successful entrepreneurs, Sabina has shown a talent for identifying needs and taking action to serve others. We are honored to support her educational journey and look forward to the impact she will make in our community and beyond.

Vivian Falt, Environmental Science scholarship recipient.

Hollywood Storage Center Scholarship for Environmental Science — $2,000

Recipient: Vivian Falt, Newbury Park High School

We are proud to award this year’s $2,000 Hollywood Storage Center Scholarship for Environmental Science to Vivian Falt, a graduating senior from Newbury Park High School.

Vivian’s passion for marine conservation began with a lifelong love of the ocean and grew into a commitment to protecting it. During a family trip to Maui, she experienced both thriving coral reefs full of life and areas where once-vibrant coral had turned gray and lifeless. Witnessing that contrast inspired her to dedicate her future to restoring and preserving marine ecosystems.

She has already turned that passion into action by volunteering at her local aquarium and pursuing her scuba certification, taking meaningful steps toward a career in marine science. Vivian also served as president of the Save Our Shelters Club, is a four-year Varsity Beach Volleyball athlete, and has earned Scholar-Athlete and Principal’s Awards throughout her high school career.

Vivian plans to study Marine Biology and hopes to join or build a team of researchers focused on coral reef restoration and ocean conservation. Her determination, leadership, and commitment to protecting the natural world reflect the purpose of this scholarship, and we look forward to seeing the impact she will make on our oceans and future generations.

As a locally owned and operated business, we are proud year after year to support young people like Sabina and Vivian as they set off to pursue their dreams. Congratulations to both, and to the entire class of 2026.
